|| Shri Ram Raksha Stotram ||

Salutations to Lord Ganesha.
This is the Shri Rama Raksha Stotra mantra.
Composed by Sage Budha Koushika.
The deity is Shri Sita Ramachandra.
Meter: Anushtup.
Sita Shakti.
Keelakam by Shri Hanuman.
This stotra is recited for the pleasure of Shri Sita Ramachandra.

|| Meditation ||

I meditate on the right arm holding a bow and arrow, seated on a lotus throne.
He wears a yellow garment, with eyes competing with the lotus petals, and a pleasant face.
Sita is seated on his left shoulder, with a lotus-like face and tear-filled eyes.
His matted hair shines with various ornaments.

The story of Lord Raghunatha (Rama) is vast as hundreds of millions.
Each syllable destroys great sins.

Meditating on the dark blue Rama with lotus eyes,
Adorned with Jata-mukuta (matted crown) and accompanied by Janaki (Sita) and Lakshmana.

He holds bow and arrows in his hands, destroys enemies.
He protects the world, and I seek his protection.

May the wise one who recites this Rama protection hymn be protected by Rama in all ways.
May Rama protect my head and forehead.

May Rama, the beloved of Kaushalya, protect my eyes and nose.
May he protect my tongue, beloved of Bharata.

May Sugriva protect my waist, and Hanuman protect my strength.
May Jambavan protect my knees, and Dashamukha protect my legs.

Whoever recites this hymn with devotion will be blessed with longevity, happiness, and victory.

May Rama and Lakshmana always protect me on my path.
May Rama, the son of Dasharatha, be my protector.

This Rama Raksha Stotra was revealed by Lord Shiva in a dream to Sage Budha Koushika.
Reciting it daily grants great merit and protection.
