Victory, victory to the one residing in the middle of Sitaram, O Mother,
Give your sight, O Jagadamba, do not delay now, O Mother. ॥
Victory to Tara, victory to Kalika, victory to the ten Vidyas,
This Kali Chalisa is composed by a Siddhi poet of Hind. ॥
Whoever reads this in the morning, afternoon, or evening,
May their sorrow and poverty be removed, and all tasks be accomplished. ॥

Victory to Kali, the garland of skulls,
Victory to Mangala, the great skull-bearer. ॥
O Mother, slayer of Raktabija,
Always the giver of happiness to devotees. ॥
Your limbs adorned with a garland of heads,
Victory to Kali, victory to the intoxicated one. ॥
Residing in the lotus of Shiva's heart,
Victory to Jagadamba, destroyer of all sorrows. ॥ 4 ॥
Hrin Kali, Shrin Mahakali,
Krin Kalyani, Dakshinakali. ॥
Victory to Kalavati, victory to Vidyavati,
Victory to Tarasundari, the great intellect. ॥
Grant good intellect, remove all troubles,
Appear before your devotees. ॥
Victory to Om Kare, victory to Hunkare,
Victory to the great power, the boundless one. ॥ 8 ॥
Kamala, destroyer of the pride of Kali Yuga,
Always the remover of fear for devotees. ॥
O Jagadamba, do not delay now,
Remove my sorrow and poverty. ॥
Victory to the terrible Kalika Mata,
Whose radiance is like the fire of time. ॥
Victory to Shankar's consort, the eternal Sureshi,
O ancient Mother of countless Siddhi poets. ॥ 12 ॥
Kapardini Kali, the liberator from the age of Kali,
Victory to the one with blossoming lotus eyes. ॥
Giver of joy, the treasure of bliss,
Grant me pure knowledge, O Mother. ॥
Ocean of the nectar of compassion, merciful one,
Now be merciless towards the wicked. ॥
All beings are very dear to you,
The whole universe is your support. ॥ 16 ॥
You dance during the time of destruction,
Mother of the world, the protector of all. ॥
Mahodari, Maheshvari, Maya,
Daughter of the Himalayas, shadow of the world. ॥
Your spontaneous roar fills the earth,
There is no one else who roars like you. ॥
The jewels of your garland sparkle,
You are the canopy of stars in the sky. ॥ 20 ॥
Benefactor of the virtuous, well-wisher of saints,
The one with fire in her hands, destroyer of the wicked. ॥
Remover of the smoky-eyed one's life,
Slayer of Shumbha and Nishumbha, the beautiful-eyed one. ॥
Thousand-armed one, garlanded with lotuses,
Chamunda, the resident of the cremation ground. ॥
Holding the pure blood in the skull cup,
Kill the wicked demon Mahishasura. ॥ 24 ॥
Amb, Ambika, Chand, Chandika,
All are one, you are the original Kali. ॥
Unborn, one form, many forms,
Your indescribable character, unmatched power. ॥
At the southern gate of Calcutta,
Your unparalleled image resides. ॥
Intoxicated with Kadambari wine, dark one,
Victory to Mantagi, the abode of desires. ॥ 28 ॥
Residing on the lotus seat, lotus-eyed one,
Victory to Shyama, victory to Shyamayani. ॥
Matangi, victory to you, the nature itself,
Victory to devotion, remover of evil intellect and giver of good intellect. ॥
Millions of Brahma, Shiva, Vishnu, giver of desires,
Victory to non-violence, the birth of dharma. ॥
Pervading water, land, and the sky,
Lightning, the one who speaks in the middle. ॥ 32 ॥
The resounding sound of Jhananan Tacchu Maririn,
Victory to Saraswati, the player of the Veena. ॥
Om Aim Hrin Klin Chamundayai Vichche,
Your throat adorned with a garland of human heads. ॥
Victory to the Mother of the universe, the poet of Siddhi,
Kamakhya and Kali Mata. ॥
Resident of Hinglaj and Vindhyachal,
The one who laughs loudly, and the destroyer of sins. ॥ 36 ॥
How much should I praise you, the unbroken one,
You are the power that conquers the universe. ॥
Have mercy on everyone, O Jagadamba,
May we remain fearless under your protection. ॥
Four-armed Kali, you are Shyama,
Your form is extremely beautiful. ॥
Holding the sword and skull cup in your hands,
You enchant the minds of gods, humans, and sages. ॥ 40 ॥
Whoever receives your grace,
Will not suffer from disease or sorrow. ॥
Whoever recites this Chalisa,
Gaurisha will shower grace upon them. ॥
